Super Important Post

Hey guys! This is a super duper extremely important post that you CANNOT MISS.

Why? Well, that would be because it is my first post on this blog! I would say that it is my first blog post ever, but that would be a lie (rip to my 7th grade fashion Blogspot).

Me in my photo shoot for my fashion blog.

Anyways, you might be wondering why I tried to give blogs another attempt. This would be because I’m obsessed with them. I have been a Pinterest girl since birth. Like momma like daughter. I grew up looking to Pinterest and blogs for life advice, crafts, recipes, decor ideas and anything else you can think of. I trust them with my life. So I thought if I love them so much, I should create my own.

Why now? That’s a great question that I’m still asking myself. I graduated high school and in twelve days I will be leaving for college. Yes, you heard that right. Twelve days. Great timing to take on a huge new project, I know.

However, all summer long I spent my free time researching literally ANY topic related to college. I am striving to be the most prepared person, and hopefully not look like a total frosh. Some would call me a control freak. While not wrong, I prefer the term organized.

I have read hundreds of posts by college bloggers and truly admire them. They inspired me to create this (Check out the link to their blogs below). While I won’t be an expert on college, I figure it will be interesting to document everything as I go through it.

If you made it to the bottom of this long explaination, then you must be really interested (YAY!). In 12 days, I will be at University of South Carolina, moving in. As I go through this great transition from high school and home cooked meals, to living in a box with a roommate, being eight hours away from home, and eating Chick Fil A almost everyday, I hope to document my experiences. I want to share my organization tips, sorority recruitment experience, first week of school, and other lessons I learned. Don’t worry, I’ll share the fails too.

But I don’t just want this to be a college blog. I want it to be unique to me. I want to share my passions with the world. I have a serious case of the travel bug, did I mention my major is Tourism Management?

I also am a photographer & videographer. I have been into photography for 6 years and absolutely love it. So I’ll share some of my tips, camera recommendations, and my own shots.

I am overjoyed to go to college (and a bit nervous), and I cannot wait to share all of my experiences with you guys. Who knows, maybe by sophomore year I’ll be saying ya’ll. A lot can happen in a year.

Sincerely, Meghan Ann XOXO
