Hey Y’all! Many of you saw my instagram post about the little surprise I made my friends and sent in the mail. I handmade a sugar scrub and bought the cutest Etsy cards so spread some positive vibes during this quarantine. I was pleased to see that so many of you loved it so I wanted to share with you the easy recipe for the sugar scrub!

What You Need:

  • Coconut Oil of any kind. The type I used is linked below.
Viva Naturals Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 16 Ounce
  • Sugar!
  • Essential Oils (optional)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Containers. I bought these ones off of amazon and the seller included label stickers as well.
DilaBee 12-Pack 8 Ounce Empty Large Plastic Jars

So for every 2 cups of sugar, you will add one cup of coconut oil. Personally I think you can just wing it and add however much of oil you would like depending on the consistantcy you prefer. The 2:1 ratio just gives you a place to start.

I used a eucalyptus essential oil because it is my favorite scent and I personally think it goes well with the coconut. I also added green food coloring just for fun 🙂

This tutorial is so easy it seems silly even writing about it but I wanted to share the scrub! Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Meghan Ann
