Hey Ya’ll! College shopping is coming up and I want to provide you with a list of things that I forgot when moving into my dorm. Now if you are an out of state student and don’t have a ton of room in your car, some of these might be better to be bought once you reach campus.
Mini sewing kit (for that strap that broke off your top downtown)
Safety Pins
Clorox wipes
Kleenex and Paper Towels
A mini steamer and one good business interview outfit
I had no idea I would need this, but I ended up interviewing for lots of internships and couldn’t just wear a dress and heels.
A mini bedside fan (my lifesaver)
A full size vacuum
At least 3 shower towels
A door stop to prop your door open and meet people
Laundry Essentials (tide stick, dryer sheets, detergent)
Lint roller
Fabric Defuzzer
Full Length Mirror (buy there so it doesn’t break!!!)
Scissors
Something to organize your snacks
Blackout Curtains
First Aid Kit
