Time to move back in to my college house! I am super lucky because I already have furniture, kitchen supplies and decor all set up from living there last year. This year I just get to do the fun part of freshening up the place with some new decor. Here is my wishlist, some of these things I have bought, and some are simply just things I like and wanted to share.

Cream Checker Throw Pillows
Our couches need new pillows so you will see a lot of them on my list. I love these cream ones because they are simple yet still fun.
Sage Pillow Covers $12.99
I really want to add a calming sage color to go along with my grey room so these pillow cases will be great for my bed.
Glassware 6pc Set $19.95
I always break glasses whether it’s from moving, in the dishwasher or accidentally knocking them over. So I need to buy some new ones this year.
Funky Candles
My mom has the square bubble candle and I am obsessed. I’ll admit, it is pretty useless but it looks gorgeous!
Large Tupperware Set $24.99
Every year tupperware goes missing or gets ruined which is a shame because it is a must have in college. Don’t waste your money on those sets that have super small tupperware and only two big bowls. The big ones are the ones that you will actually use. Our sorority doesn’t provide to go containers for our house food so I use these super frequently. You can always buy cuter ones but these are the ones I bought.
Colorful 8′ by 10′ Rug $143.99
My house is entirely gray with concrete floors so it can feel very cold instead of homey. I am on the hunt for a colorful rug to make it feel like a fun college house but also comfortable. I love this one from Wayfair but want to make sure my roommates all chose a rug together.

Just as a typical college house, my light fixtures in my room don’t work very well. My mom and I bought two of these lamps to go on each side of my bed to help illuminate the room. I think they are a very classic style that will age well too. We bought black lamp shades to look modern and to avoid mixing whites.
These items might seem silly but at the end of the day play a big part in your college house feeling like a home. I already have my bedroom almost completely decorated from last year except a few subtle changes I’m making to add more color. As for the living space, I have some pillows and rugs I will suggest to my roommates and see how they feel about it. The wall space will be a completely blank slate so stay tuned for that. I did buy some great vintage alcohol posters for my kitchen that I’m super excited about.
Once I get all moved back in I should do a house tour. Someone remind me haha.
