Hey ya’ll! If you know my dad, you know the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. So of course when it comes to around Thanksgiving time I need to do a post about the Top Ten things I am thankful for. Here it goes:
- My new friends who I have met in college who have made me feel at ease through such a difficult transition, and been by my side to make me laugh through it all. Thank you for letting me be myself around you, and opening up. It’s crazy to me how such good friendships form in such a short amount of time.
- The opportunity to go to University of South Carolina and to be in a new environment, meet new people, learn a different culture, and gain my independence. Oh, and learn at an amazing university of course!
- My family who has been so supportive of me through every step. To my momma for calling me everyday, my sister giving me advice, and my dads silly email updates, popsie’s sweet text messages, and letters and birthday gifts from my aunts. I feel so incredibly loved and could not be more thankful for my crew.
- My boyfriend, Herbie. It has been one year with my sweet boy and I am so lucky to have him. He has been my rock and I could not imagine not having him during this huge change in my life. Long distance was a risky decision but the best one we have made!
- I am thankful for my friends back home that have stayed in touch with me and show me so much love.
- I am thankful for my Essex Roadies. My extended family beyond blood. Thanks for always bringing along fun times.
- I am thankful for my health. I have struggled with mental health, but am working through it and I am so blessed to have resources accessible to me, and people loving and supporting me.
- I am thankful to be home for thanksgiving. Nothing better than being in my own bedroom, in my own house and just knowing my loved ones are a few feet away.
- I am thankful for the new puppy my family just got, Sampson. I am so excited to play with him and cuddle him until he goes stir crazy!
- Finally, I am thankful for the home cooked Thanksgiving feast that I get to have instead of the same Panera half salads.
What are you thankful for this year?
Sincerely, Meghan Ann

I am thankful for your dedication to your goals. I love our new little buddy and I am thankful to be able to spend QT time with extra dad family this holiday season.
