A Love Letter to UofSC

Dear UofSC, will you be my Valentine?

Four years ago, it was love at first sight. I was so young then and had no idea how much I would love you now as a junior. You are simply stunning. From the sunshine reflecting off of Russell House’s tall windows, to the pale-yellow buildings on the Horseshoe- your beauty can’t be denied. When I met you for the first time, I instantly felt comfortable. You have become home to me. Being around you has brought me so many spontaneous opportunities like hiking Congaree National Park with friends, dancing on Greene Street, and the thrilling roar of a student section when we win in Willy B. Not only have you given me so much joy, but you have helped me become a better person. You have challenged me in ways I have never would have imagined both academically and outside of the classroom. I’m so thankful I get to walk through life with you by my side. I love you.

Ps. For Valentine’s Day since I just expressed my love to you, maybe you can treat me to dinner? Thanks.
