A Budget Friendly Girls Trip To Las Vegas

My college girlfriends and I just got back from a girls trip to Las Vegas! We are a group of 5 girls on a budget, with one of us still in college, 2 in grad school, and 2 girls are young professionals new in their career. Is Las Vegas budget friendly? It can be! Here is how we planned our planned our budget friendly girls trip.

Accommodations

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara Center Strip Las Vegas

We stayed in a Suite at the Elara, Hilton Grand Vacations property on the strip. Suites run from $260 one bedroom suite to $490 for two bedrooms but they were running a timeshare promotion that we took advantage of.

The hotel was beautiful, very clean and a perfect location right in the center of the strip of Las Vegas! I really appreciated that there was no casino within the hotel so it was much quieter.

Sightseeing

There are so many budget friendly girls trip activities in Vegas because there is simply so much to see! You could spend two days just walking around and people watching.

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas Hotel

The Bellagio Fountains

The Venice Canals at the Venetian

The Statue of Liberty at New York New York

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

The Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo

Fremont Street (Old Las Vegas Strip)

Nightlife

Believe it or not, the nightlife in Vegas is one of the best budget friendly aspects of Vegas. That is, if you do it correctly. If you are on a budget friendly girls trip, you have the advantage of being a female so clubs will do anything to get you to choose them. Promoters fill the streets and casinos to pass out vouchers to bypass entry fees to their club. Often times, many vouchers include free drinks too! They will ask for you information to place you on a list which seems sketchy at first but it is worth it. You can always decide you don’t want to go after you register, but if you don’t register, you could be expected to pay if you last minute decide to go out. Men can get free entry too, but it is usually during an early hour of the night.

We encountered a few promoters, but none of the DJs really caught our eye so we used the app Tabler. Tabler connects travelers (or locals!) with promoters for clubs. They post a message about the DJ and event they are promoting, and you can register for the guest list online!

We signed up for the guest list at Encore Club at the Wynn to see Diplo perform. Our promoter not only put on the list to enter the club entry fee free, but also let us skip the line to inside the bar, and treated us to bottle service at an exclusive table. We drank top shelf drinks all night for free!

If you like gambling, you can get free drinks as long as you are actively gambling. I wasn’t really interested in that scene, but my friends made some penny bets and spent $20 each which was fun entertainment.

Restaurants

Arguably the hardest part of traveling to Las Vegas on a budget is finding affordable, yet quality restaurants. We did not want to eat fast food for every meal but when we went to restaurants we often found ourselves spending $40-60 each.

My favorite place we ate all weekend was off the strip, at the Downtown Container Park. We ate at Bin, a gourmet grilled cheese place and ordered frose to sit out in the sun and relax.

I also recommend Nacho Daddy, just off the strip and has great margarita deals! We split two pitchers and each got two full drinks for $18.

The LINQ Promenade is an alley of restaurants and bars that is perpendicular to the Strip and is super easy to miss. I highly recommend walking through this area and grabbing a bite to eat! We found some affordable spots here.

Lastly, we made our girls trip budget friendly by spending quality time together in our pjs drinking mimosas from ABC. It was honestly my favorite part.
